Christmas is Coming...

The Goose is Getting Fat..."

This Yuletide song keeps playing in my mind comes December of every year. And this Christmas, it's going to be spent in KL with my Mom, sister and her family. It's great that they will be here for the Season.

I've planned the menu for our dinner on Christmas eve. A friend is checking out the restaurants for a Christams turkey and another is going shopping with me for the Tree. My only problem with getting a Christmas tree is : where am I going to store it after the season? Not forgetting the decorations and the lights. But what's Christmas without the tree with the fairy lights, tinsels, candy canes and the presents underneath it huh?

Now, if only there's someone out there who has a Christmas tree for rent during the season. Can you imagine it? There's no need to take it out, put it up, take it down and store it any more. A decorated tree just a phone call or mouse click away? I know some of my classmates would be happy not to put up the tree and take it down later!

That's the lazy way out. Putting up the tree helps to instill part of the essence of Christmas. It's a time you get to spend with the other siblings and argue who's going to put the Star at the top. And this is what I'm going to do with my family. I'm going to get the blooming tree and wait for them to be here to decorate it.
