The last time I wrote/visited my own blog was way back in 2007. Since then, there have been numerous changes - BN lost more 4 states to the so-called Opposition in which the alternative new media played a pivotal role, we have a new Prime Minister and his 1Malaysia ideals.
On a personal note, my life has also changed. Since then, I've left a PR agency and moved on to do marketing for a ICT start-up. For 14 months, I enjoyed playing a role in helping to make a change in people's perception towards toll free service.
On 25 June 2009, I went to that office for the last time and am now going back to do communications consulting as well as marketing organisational development training for a psychologist and a linguist.
Just last weekend, I attended a retreat facilitated by Bernd Schmitt on BIG THINK Strategy courtesy of Yayasan Kepimpinan & Strategi Malaysia. And what a weekend it was. A new group, Innovator Network for 1Malaysia (INFORM) was formed with Dato' Majid Khan, former Malaysia Ambassador to China, as the President. I'm honoured to be among the founding members of the group and look forward to contribute towards nation-building.
